Just kind of blown away with the amount of stuff (and the quality) this young numismatist has been able to collect in a relatively short period of time. A little bit envious too since I'm several years older and don't have that kind of coin budget! Lots of other videos on this individual's YouTube channel that I thought were of interest.

ChrisDotCalm, has a lot of great videos of his collection on YouTube. I think it's every Friday he posts a new one.

I can't even imagine having that sort of collection at 19 or even now. Nice!

I don't think that photographing and talking about his safe is advisable either with this size of collection.

Is there any other good numismatic youtube channels/videos out there?

The strangest thing about that video is that I know someone who talks and sounds exactly like that. Complete with all the tonal inflections and everything.

I really think this wasn't the smartest thing to do, make a video of a collection of this size and put it out on YouTube. With a little bit of effort it probably is quite possible for someone to locate this guy from his YouTube userid and Facebook page. He better have a VERY secure safe.

I remember thinking that same thing when I was watching "Million Dollar Listing", on Bravo TV this past summer. One show had Josh Flagg bring out a certified Morgan collection he said was worth over a Quarter Million. He went into his bedroom closet (no safe) and brought the coins out on display. His address, including his apt#, were revealed earlier. After I was robbed last summer, I give out no information about where my coins are kept.

I watched that show from time to time. I loved that episode, I wish they showed the coins a bit better though.

Amazing collection, but yeah, not safe on you tube. Sheesh. I hope he has a few guns along with the safe.

An example of a rich kid showing off. All displayed on his pool table not to mention the house he must have too.

I have no idea who you are and I'm pretty sure I have never heard you speak. However, if the shoe fits . . .

muddler, wholeheartedly.
This is an exercise in self absorption to an extreme degree. It's a bit of a turn-off. It's great to share, but you can't even see any of those coins. He must be related to Scrooge McDuck.
I wonder if he ever thought about tossing one of his precious coins in a Salvation army pot.
