I'll be making this thread to post any good finds that I get from junk silver bins at pawn shops and flea markets. To start off, I'll post the 3 quarters I got earlier today for $6.25 each.

First off: A 1917 Type 1!

An 1897 Barber quarter

Last but not least, an 1877 Seated Liberty:

Since I don't know much about pricing quarters, any info how much each would be worth would be greatly appreciated.

I don't collect SLQ, but the Barber and the Seated Liberty is worth ~6.5-7$.
I'd pay the 6.25$ they've charged you, but not much more than that.

6.25 is about 50 cents above spot. My LCS was charging 6.75. I have found a lot of 1917 Type ones in junk bins. Never found a seated liberty though!

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I mainly got the 1917 because I didn't know if it was a 1916 or 1917, and I got really excited hoping it was a 1916, but when I got home and looked up how to date it, I noticed it was a 1917.

The Seated Liberty I got because I felt that it would be the only chance I'd get in a long time to snatch one of those for barely above melt.

By the way, Rachums, have you found any really nice coins in a junk bin, like a 1916 SLQ or something like that?
