Ouch!

This is one of those coins I would pay $10-15 for tops.
Too bad because underlying detail was nice.

It all depends how much you want to fill that space in your date set and your coin budget.

I don't collect cents by date, but if I did I think I would be willing to pay $50 for it easily.

However, if you can spend $500 on a coin, then wait and get an XF specimen.

Not much can be done to save that one. If you buy it as a hole filler and upgrade later, you might not be able to sell it to get your money back.

Looks ugly now, would probably still look ugly if you used Verdicare on it, no?

With that much crusty green deposit, it's guaranteed to have major surface damage under the crud, no matter what tricks you use to try to improve it.
Stay far away is my feeling. Let the bottom feeders have it. It's not that scarce a year.

I don't think BadThad could mix up enough Verdicare to fix that train wreck. As for that penny...Nothing to see here, move along.

I do collect IHC, but I'd buy a F2 example before I'd purchase this one.
If I were to bid on this coin, 5$ would be my max.

Can't see Verdicare doing it any good.

What a joke - relisted at an even higher price! I wouldn't even want that one as a hole filler.

If you thought that one looks gross, I ought to post a pic of my poor Wheat penny that looks like it is growing a brain off of it. I might get around to it some time..
