I'm not much of a Washington quarters collector, but this one's mint mark got me wondering.
Got it from ebay for 10$, so worst case I've overpaid by 3-4$.

What do you think?

I'm leaning towards die chip.
Here is a link to one of my die chip quarters. The S looks like a g.

Is it incuse, or raised? If incuse, I'd agree with "took a hit," but if it's raised, I'd say a chip or Cud.

Your pictures do make it hard for a more accurate diagnosis. I tried enlarging them at my end and they get to blurry too work with.

Sorry bout the pics quality.

They are the seller's pics, and I had to downgrade them in order to upload them.

Got some new pics. Can't really seem to focus my camera on the mint mark (time for a new camera?).

What do you think?
