I'm struggling trying to determine the variety of this 1838 Large Cent. Every time I find a couple of markers of a certain variety I seem to find some that don't fit. My guess is N-3 or N-11 but the coin lacks enough detail for me to be sure. It very well might not be 3 or 11 and that's why I'm asking for assistance.

It has the broken uprights in the N's of ONE and CENT so it is N-11/13, N-15, or N-16. The obverse has strong denticals so that eliminates N-16. The reverse denticals are still fairly strong so that eliminates N-15. N_11/13 are both the same die variety, yours doesn't have the obv Cud so it is not the N-13 die state. That makes it N-11.
