IMHO,I think the hype on these are over. And the condition of yours doesn't look too high so the price of having them TPGed would probably cost more then the value of the coins would be. John1

The price on these has gone down considerably recently. I sold an extra leaf high on ebay last month for $110. It was raw and was nicer than yours about MS62 or so. I don't think it's worth sending these to a TPG.

Thank you both for your input. I figured as much, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get an extra opinion or two.

From the pic it looks like the high leaf quarter was actually tooled to look like the variety. It isn't as defined as it should be and it's shaped incorrectly.

I agree something doesn't look right. I've been hunting for these ever since they came out, haven't found one yet, nor the 1995 DDO Lincoln.

I think the low leaf looks OK but I agree the "high leaf" doesn't look Kosher.

Wow, I think you guys are right. That's disappointing. . . I'm glad I posted these here so (a) I didn't waste money getting these graded (when I thought they were both legit) and (b) it prevents me from accidentally passing this faked error on to someone else down the road. Thanks again everyone.

Your Wisconsin Extra Leaf Low looks AU and original. Your High Leaf looks very questionable,(probably a poor alteration). Neither would be good grading canidates. As fas as the general WI Extra Leaf Quarter market, prices are down, PCGS/NGC population figures have NOT risen much over the last several years. Other modern error coins have faired in value much worse than these leaf coins. Such as: 2005 D Speared Bison Nickels, Ken Potter's MN extra tree fiasco, Godless Washington Dollars. I am bias because I live in the SA, Tx area and found a few of these intentionally made variety quarters at the local banks. In future generations, the Statehood Quarters will be collected in earnest and the WI varieties will be much sought after. Really, who would typically pay $50 and up for a Statehood Quarter in today's economy? Mark.
