Short cross and six-pointed stars; very pretty. Did a lot of Scottish pennies find their way to Dorset 800 years ago?

I've had 3 Williams and an Alexander iii so far plus a few cut halfs , they were treated as normal coinage due to being silver and almost identical size and weight to eddy penny's etc .
