I emailed this woman and she said the top offer was $1380. Gold melt is at $688. I told her she should hold onto these coins but she needs the cash. If anyone lives in this area, I think it would be a pretty good pickup.
Cherio,

Hi Tykimeister! At $688.00 per troy oz,(24 hr gold today) melt on these coins is $619.00. Non bullion American double Eagles are .900 fine or.96750 of a troy oz. So, someone has offered her $690.00 per coin, about an average price. Both are common dates and the condition is tough to tell from these photos, especially on the Liberty Head! Mike
