I'm mostly interested in the stuff from Victoria to KGV.. lots of silver coins to be had. Does anyone have more information about them? Or know of any good books? I can't find much information online, I just pick up what I can afford on ebay (I never know the true value).

Can you tell exactly what kind of coins do you want, nickel or silver? What denominations?

I collect HK currency, you can buy "Illustrated Catalogue of Hong Kong Currency" by Ma Tak Wo Numismatics co.,LTD, it lists all currency issued sine 1863 for coins with mintages and 1860 for banknotes. Illustrations are given for all differing issues. It is bilingual Chinese- English and prices are in HK dollars. ISBN 962-85939-3-5
