Just damage.
Don't forget to check the reverse for a
possible WAM (type 2 reverse die variety)

I pulled up the image again and there is a gouge above that T. It seems to be in the shape of a hammer. I also noticed that LIncoln has an eyeball... how weird is this coin

Now that's funny.

On a serious note, I would love to see a better close up of the wound.

SsuperDdave had made a comment regarding a similar appearance on one of my errors. His opinion was a strikethrough. He explained that there was no displaced metal around the hole. If this is what is on your coin, then my guess would be a strikethrough, however if there is metal pushed away from the hole, I'd say PMD. Your images are not clear enough for this amateur to see any detail (on my computer) for a better guess.

I am not high enough up on the latter to email you guys, but I could send the full resolution picture if you email me. You have to knock the quality down to post on the forum.I promise I am no spammer or nothing like that. There is also something on the reverse
Rest in Peace

frankstony16, it seems that you have a keeper....for now.

I didn't know that it could be a strikethrough....

I'll check back tomorrow to see if there are any more opinions. (A lot of CCF folks were a the BIG SHOW this weekend.)
Rest in Peace

I think this is PMD and is zinc rot. A pin hole goes through the copper plating exposing the zinc to the air. The zinc corrodes pushing up a bubble. As the zinc continues to corrode the bubble collapses which is where your coin is now.
