Ok, So I have been looking at buying some old coin rolls in hopes of filling some of my Wheat penny dates. When looking around there are a lot of "unsearched" coin rolls with the ends being machine wrapped... being new to coin collecting, are there certain things I need to look out for? can people have these rolls look machine wrapped or have a machine themselves? any advice is helpful, thanks

They do sell a wrapping tool, but if anything has "unsearched" in the title, I dont bother reading on. Better off just buying the date.

Yes! Very suspicious. I have seen all kinds of thing put on the ends of these rolls including what was supposed to be gold coins. Stay away from these things.

don't know the thread but do some looking around on here, someone pointed out that one of the sellers on ebay was buying indian and wheat cents, form other people but were also selling rolls like you mention, they figured after fees they will pulling down 99 dollars per roll after they paid for the "unsearched" coin.

Buying "unsearched" rolls kind of like gambling, a tax on the lame-brained.

I saw a roll w/an '09s LWC on one end & an '09 IHC on the other
hammer down over $700! Got exactly what he paid for.

Do a forum search for "unsearched wheats".

Is this the guy? (Link to his feedback)

Tough to pay over $800 for a roll, even with a gold coin end.

He seems to be getting pretty good feedback.
