ive seen older flips in all colors, including black.

the writing was done with one of those silver tip markers.

Non colored flips have been used for a long, long time with no effects. I do know that today, paints, dyes, inks can and are made with little to no problem chemicals. But I'll still play it safe with something used for many, many years. Non colored flips.

If you want those coins that you cherish more, put them in capsules, with the black rings, IMO.
