AU58 or MS63. Hard to tell if there's circulation wear or all flat strike. My guess would be just flat strike and bag marks though.

There is no wear. Later-date New Orleans Morgans are well-known for their weak strikes. Finding one with a great strike is a challenge.

I would say MS 63, because the rim ding and a couple other spots, nice coin!

Sometimes with New Orleans Morgans, you just have to go with your gut. Thanks to your wonderful images, my gut's pretty full about this one.

I believe it has a pretty good shot at 64.

These images are so good I'm compelled to offer a small suggestion to bring them yet closer to perfection - the coin is ever so slightly out of parallel to the lens. Note the minor lack of focus on the bottom of both images.

What are you shooting with?

SSDD, I need a copystand and that will fix that, my shots are with a 90mm macro lens, freehand.

I think on a good day it will make a 64 grade, but it's a lock MS63 all day long no problem, no way it goes lower than 63.
