If you look at the part of it that wasn't struck, you can see the marks that "could" have been obliterated if it were. These are leftovers from the original planchet. A good strike may get rid of these. Most MS-65 quarters have a strong strike. Based on the part of the coin that was struck, it looks pretty strong. The only thing really distracting is the neck but this chatter is in a prime focal area. The reverse is very clean. I'd grade it a 64 myself. Report this Post to the Staff
