I found an Australian $50 Note with a High Serial.
HE 99 999 862 it is badly folded but is it worth more than $50?

To contribute to the thread, and I'm sure someone will come back and confirm or say it's rubbish, I'm sure I've read elsewhere that the printing starts at 999 999, so to flip it, you've found a low serial, not a high one ;)

Nice serial considering it is a '99 note too. Worth keeping? Quite average condition, but a nice serial number, it's up to you. My highest is (or lowest in CoinManTim's view) is a 98 999990.

Nice serial
I reckon it would command some sort of premium considering it is also a 99 note

Thanks for the replies I think I will sell it.

Do you think I should put it under some heavy books to flatten it or just sell it as it is.

Thanks CoinStew.
That is what I thought but I wasn't sure if it would be like cleaning a coin which is a big no no.

My understanding was that it started from the top too reading the reserve bank website.
