I was wondering if somebody could give me some information on this
coin. It says on the front "Queen
Elizabeth The Second" and on the reverse, it reads "New Zealand Half
Penny "1964". There are three things I'd like to know about this coin:
1: Is it worth anything in the US?
2: What is that symbol in the reverse?
3: Does the "1964" on the reverse mean anything special? (For example,
the 1964 quarter is silver).
Thank you

the obverse is what they call a Hei-tiki. You can google that and get the variety of explanations of the origin. Essentially it is a symbol of ancestors (or so I understand).
In terms of value, I'm afraid very little. it is a pretty common coin and Krause has a $0.10 value at VF

The 1964 offers no significance. The coin is bronze (copper)
