I recently purchased a 2013 Charlton coin book on collector and maple leaf issue 3rd edition.

While searching through it I was reading page 31 on the 2002 colourised men's ice hockey coins about the different 2's. In the write up on the Petro Canada Sport cards it mentions that they only have the incluse 2 and no raised 2 on these cards, is this a misprint for these coins as I have one with a raised 2 on my Petro card would anyone else have one.

All comments welcome

My original question?

Does anyone have a Petro Canada Men's Hockey Card with a raised 2?

It seems that a lot of people looked at the post but no response.

So my next question to this post does anyone have the Petro Canada Men's Hockey card with the incluse 2?

I don't have this one so I can't comment.
It is a 2009 coin though. Flip it over. It's just referring to hockey in 2002.

Here in Southern Ontario I have seen both varieties. The day CCN story was released, I drove out to our Petrocan station and asked to see all of the Men's Hockey cards. I bought 10 of the raised 2's. I tried to sell a couple of them immediately while the price was $50 but they seemed to be selling for $10. I don't think the price has gone any where since that I know of.

Thanks for you reply Cownick.
I was wondering if the write up was a misprint but with only owning 1 of these Petro Canada Hockey cards I could only wonder.
But you mention seeing both varieties in the Petro cards the raised 2 and the incuse 2, making it the same as the business strikes.
I guess no one would know the mintage of each variety or what one would be the lesser minted of the two?
