I purchased all three versions: BU, Proof and Selectively Gold-Plated in the proof set. All three versions look really good in hand! The design offers plenty of details and textures which really "pop" on the proof and gold-plated coins. All are nice additions to Canada's longest-running commemorative series â€" and my collection! The deal was supposed to be that if you bought the Franklin Expedition coloured coin you would get the 2013 silver proof set for 129.99. However, Steven said that you might be able to get the set for 129.99 even if you do not buy the expedition coin. I tried it online and got one. Now I just hope they do not cancel the order.
