1938-Repunched?
Hmm I know this is a repunch, unless the little viewing thing I can see the S has been repunched. Are these common? What's their approximate value? I got it for change today at school
p.s. sorry for the bad scan, I placed it into a holder and scanned it through there.

Your photo is too small and dark to verify an RPM but you can check out RPMs from that year at www.coppercoins.com

my scanner is bad lol. I scanned just the S and it's the best picture I can get. You can see it better with the eye magnifier.

That's 1938S-1MM-001, a decent RPM with some premium value, especially in BU grades.
