There might be a better place on this forum for this question, but because it pertains to ebay I'll ask it here:

Whenever I want to post a link to an ebay item for other members to see, I copy out the whole URL from the address bar and paste it into my post. Those URLs are usually pretty long.

I've noticed, however, that a lot of our members will say something similar to "Look at THIS", where "THIS" is the live link that takes you right to the ebay listing.

How the heck do you do that?

Almost thanks, Bobby! That almost helped! Now I can almost do what I want to do!

Can I assume that what you've done there is copied out the entire URL, put it in between brackets ([ ]), typed in something relative and then finished up by adding [/url] ...?

Is it necessary to add the url= at the beginning of the url...? Or was that just you saying "this is the URL I copied"...?

Edit your post and look at this...

There is also special coding to use the ebay Item Number to create a link, look for " ebay Tools" above your text box when creating a post and click on the gavel.

[eBayItem}251220660096{/eBayItem] will look like [eBayItem][/eBayItem]
