Was lookign at this. Not sure if nayone has had any luck with this. It seems like prices get high on al ot of the stuff and shipping is ridiculously expensive, but wanted to know if anyone had tried it and what kind of luck they had. any info would be great and much appreciated. Thanks.

I have been using them a while. Here lately, bids are making many coins over priced, but I still look for coins and other things. Watch the shipping charges, some are shipped for $7.95 (usually USPS), some $9.95 (usually FedEx), and here lately I have had things coming from Canada shipped at $12.95 (usually UPS)

ok - thanks for the input. I think I am gonna monitor it for a while and then maybe make a "test" purchase here and there before I get crazy.

The trouble with such sites is the potential for a bidding frenzy on the part of people with no feel for the actual value of what they're bidding on. If you keep a clear head and know what you're bidding on, you'll be fine. Never forget, there's always going to be another one down the road.

Thanks. I have been to an estate auction or two and when things got crazy, I let the sharks choke on what they were fighting over and bowed out.

i'll let you all know if I get anything.

My advice was obviously unnecessary.

I don't know about coins, but don't buy any jewelry from them. I have heard about so many scams from them - rings are not real gold, fake diamonds, etc. The coins could be Chinese fakes.
