I got to say good. They were free to ship.
I only picked 3 buffalo's. I might buy more but before I do I would like my coins to come in and see how they look.

I'll leave it to others to decide whether pricing is appropriate, but one thing strikes me: They use stock, high-grade images to generically describe what they're selling, and then list what grades they have in stock. This requires trusting their grading - not necessarily a dealbreaker if they're good graders - but it might tend to deceive some customers.

Look like a nice website to me. It is too bad that they don't sell any Canadian coins :(

Looks trustworthy. Thanks for posting. I've only TRIED to buy online from a dealer once. They said email to ask about coins. They never replied

If they want extra money from me for top grades I will need to see pictures of the coin first. If they had real good prices on them I might take a shot, but all things being equal Id stick to places I can see the actual coin. At the very least would need it to be slabbed if I've had good experiences in the past.

I checked one price on a matron head large cent. G5 1924 for $41 when a G4 price is $21 and VG 8 is $35 at Numismedia. OK but certainly no deal. I know the dealer I got to has a box of them marked $10-$20 and you can probably pick out a nice higher grade one for under $20.

Silvertowne does that too with their coins, use a stock photo and then list the grades they have. I would prefer to see the coin I was going to get. I would rather see the coin I was going to get.

Don't forget, though - this was how numismatics was conducted for its' entire history until the Internet came around. Mailing lists of coins, grades listed, and when you found a dealer whose grading you could trust, that's who you bought from.

I never buy anything on line. I usually only buy items I can actually see. However, if I did I would certainly only try a few low priced coins as a test. I would never try purchasing anything to expensive.

I would rather see the coin I was going to get. I tried Silvertowne a few times for that and wasnt happy with what I got. It may have just be my orders but if the grades listed as g/vg youll get a g everytime and dont expect to get any untoned coins no matter what you order. I stick to their actually graded coins now and havent had any problems with those
