Kind of.....Thanks to you guys, I started checking the rejection slot on the Coin Star machines. I always try to be as covert as possible so I don't look like a homeless guy hoping to find enough for a cold 40 ounce(r). Today, for the first time, I found coins in the reject bin. A 1997 Lincoln and a 2007 Roosevelt. Maybe next time.

What a dog you are I have done this and found a Canadian reject in the bin. A no no on Canada clad. Seems some have a program of acceptance in MI. or not.

Hey, it's a start, mds. I feel lousy checking the Coinstar, but I've gotten 4 silver Rosies since April. I'll swallow my pride.

BLadd,
One would think Olde English 800 would be hard to come by in the UAE.
Blackjack,
You could sell those 4 Rosie's and get a whole case of Pearl Light.

Should I even ask what Pearl Light is?

MDS now that you've mentioned an OE I think you should set your coinstar change finds aside and make it your first purchase!

Found a 1964 Rosie on Sunday at the local Meijer. Saw this gentleman taking change in when I walked in. Thought I better check the machine on the way out. Sure enough, found a silver dime. Not too bad.

Blackjack, The first time I went to college was 1978 and it was in Albuquerque, NM (University Of Albuquerque no longer around). There was a beer named Pearl and yes, the ever popular Pearl Light. If you think Coors light is watered down, you never had the opportunity to drink Pearl Light. A six pack was around 1.49 and if you drank the entire 72 ounces you'd feel the same effect of one Bud. stev18, I'd rather buy a bag of ...Starbucks Caffe Verona.

Although I'm not very adamant about this, I have yet to find ANY coin in the reject tray.

Last time I checked the reject bin I found a 1946 silver dime. I have found many foreign coins and a Wheat penny before in reject bins. I also got a pair of earrings that popped out of a reject bin when dumping some coins in the machine.

2006 Canadian penny is what I've come up with, now after checking the reject bin only twice.

Luck strikes again! Today I went into my local grocery store to grab some doughnuts for my research lab. Thought I better check the coin star return just because I always do. Found a 1921 Canadian Cent and a 1939 US nickel. Not a bad way to start a day.

Second time checking and second time finding. Today I went into the store and went straight for the rejection slot. Two clad Rosie's and one Zincoln. Maybe the silver or Wheaties will appear next time. At least I'm getting closer to my 40 .
