I am still confused. Mint has two versions of ASE on sale right now and both are availabe.
proof version:

2013 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin (GA6)
Price: $62.95
and uncirculated version:

2012 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin (PJ8)
Price: $50.95

According to biokemist6 and Foxwoods Man, the circulated ASE bullion coin is not sold directly to the public and has to be ordered from dealer. This version used to sell in more than 10 millions. Proof and uncirculated version is minted below 1 million. Is this right?

MD the unciruclated version is not the bullion version. Theres 3 versions of the coin the ones without mint marks are the bullion.

Youre correct that the bullion sells in the millions and the proof and uncirculated versions have MUCH lower final sales numbers

Proof ASE sold by the Mint to collectors...mintage last year just under 900k

Burnished ASE (with a W mintmark) sold by the Mint to collectors..2012 mintage (so far) 190k with another 16k in the dollar set (VERY low mintage presently)

Bullion ASE sold by dealers...mintage in the 40 million range (no mintmark)

...and don't forget the 2012 Burnished S mintmarked ASE and Reverse Proof ASE ...mintage 224k or so

SO for 2012 we had a bullion, W, S, RP, and proof ASE (not to mention the bullion struck in SF)

According to "Coin Update" they are back on sale and there soon should be plenty around.

The January burst of buying is normal followed by a sales slowdown in February.

Provident Metals has them at $2.50 over spot
