So I picked up a 2013 chineae panda 1 oz silver piece
I paid $41 for it which I'm sure is too much but I absaloutly love this coin for some reason.
Anybody else like these guys?

Love them and collect them. I have a raw collection and a PCGS MS69 collection and a few MS70s sprinkled in.

$41 dollars is a good price, I'd pay that.

I sold a whole sheet for $40 a piece to one person. So for a single that's a great price.

i got a whole sheet of 2013's for my collection as I restart. I also bought two of the proof medals from the ANA Phlly and Singapore coin show.

Over the years I have gold pandas and silver pandas including sheets going back to early 2000s.

Like you, I just love the animal on the front, and the coins are just beautiful. I was really surprised tho with the new style with the tray sheet, instead of a soft sheet.

While its 8 million count for this year, these coins will continue to command a premium so if you have to rip them (which hopefully you never have to give them up) you will be ok, even if you pony up now.

I been hunting now for some special panda sets lol.

Congrats on your Panda and I hope your Panda collection grows!

This is going to sound stupid but the fact that pandas are solitary creatures yet the coin always a group of them kinda ruins it for me a little bit.

I want to get one to see what all the fuss is about but maybe if there were a coin with 1 panda, lol

I think you did pretty good. My wife paid $110 for a raw one and an NGC MS70 Early Release right around Christmas. they came in the first week of Jan.

Wow, $110 for a raw one? Did she get it off the Television? I caught my wife ordering me a Carson City Silver dollar on one of the shows for $499 and then I saw it was a 1884 in MS64 a $250-$300 coin at best. I told her thank you for the thought but save your money.

Opps, sorry. She just told me it was $119 for the both of them. I just checked the site she got them from and the same pair can be purchased now for $132. Prices are going up on these faster than silver is moving up, so $41 is a fairly good deal.

Yea you got a nice deal there, I love how it looks in the slab, actually I LOVE how it looks!

I think.. again, over the long haul these Pandas will hold their value.

If you like these Pandas, man you should see some of the proof medals they make for the coin fairs, very nice 1 oz silver coins.

Also, I been on the look out for panda sets issued by the Peoples Bank of China, those are really nice, proof different fractional sizes, and limited minted sets.

As the price of silver moves lower, Pandas should be at the top of your "get" list if you haven't gotten none yet for your collection, just beautiful coins that also command a premium.

I was impressed how they now do a sheet of 30, and in a tray at that!
