Those diamonds in the ribbon do not look right and are not consistent with the wear on the rest of the coin. looks like someone enhanced them.

A bit of wear on the features makes it a circulated coin. I agree diamonds are unnatural as well.
I'm starting to think all of this coin have a somewhat fake luster.

The surface color, ware and unnaturally smooth fields really bothered me on this coin as they have bothered many of the CCF members. I had never considered someone would re-cut the diamonds but they look too well defined for the condition of the rest of the coin. Just how this coin was doctored - I'm not qualified to say but I'm hopeful someone will chime in to indicate how this is done. The bottom line is that I truly appreciate an honest assessment of the coins I post without pulling any punches. My goal is to learn as much as I can about how these coins were modified and learn to recognize the signs when I see them. Your un-restrained inputs are essential to my learning process and are very much appreciated. Marty

The size looks off, and there's other things about the coin that deserve closer scrutiny. It's hard to say for sure form a photo, but the coin may have 'doctored' dipped, toned, worked on to apppear a higher grade.
