Ebay Dead This Week? Traffic Down? Or My Imagination?

I've had a a few auctions on ebay since Monday, but ebay has been dead all week (in my experience). Compared to last week, hits and bids this week seem way down. This evening I canceled three auctions because of no bids at all. It just seems unusually dead to me. I expected action to be slow on Superbowl Sunday so my auctions are closing Saturday. It's been very disappointing. Overall traffic numbers are way down, on average about half of what was recorded per day a month prior. Report this Post to the Staff

Because of the Superbowl on Sunday, there were a lot of people that held off on posting new product. Like myself, I like the 7 day turnaround auctions, I refrained from posting last Sunday because of the SB. The good news is there will be tons of deals ending between noon and 6 this Sunday. Prices in the very active category of "Fender Electric Guitar related" are way down (although auction hits are good)... PRICES DOWN by nearly 60 to 70 percent for genuine vintage fender from two or three years ago. It is harder for me to judge sales of collectable coins (of the ebay type market).
