Hello and welcome.

The coat of arms is the symbol of Communist Laos. The Wikipedia page for the Lao kip illustrates one of these notes, a 1000 kip issued from 1996.

As for value, virtually nil, I'm afraid. 1000 kip is worth about 12 US cents at the official exchange rate. And this note is too heavily circulated to be of much interest to a collector.

Low grade common notes like these typically sell for 50 cents to a dollar in junk note bins at shows, ect
