Was that the die crack or do you have a double-date 1942? I read all your posts because you have such a great variety of the KGIV pennies -- I have a special fondness for those myself, and there are so many different ones that a collector can find.

Its the 1942 that has the one attached to the nine on what looks like a die crak. I have showned quite a few people they never seen one like it but they exist

I've seen that same die crack on at least one other year from the forties -- I can't remember which year, I'd have to check my set. One nice thing for the error collector about the King George series is the huge number of die crack varieties available.
