thats a tough one
does that need a touch of acetone to remove something on the surface? it seems to haze over the entire obverse
the reverse looks like it holds more mint luster, no?

That is a very nice coin! MS IMHO, possibly full bands.

To me, the obverse looks like the start of toning. Possibly a finger print? Not sure but it is a nice coin.

IMO MS, looks like a gash on the middle band, not sure if it would hurt the value or grade. Beautiful coin tho!

Only a couple of very tiny dings under AMERICA. MS64 FSB.
Nicer than the average MS64 FSB wartime issues, where Mercury's hair detail is not as sharply struck up as this one is.

Seems to have some die finishing brush marks to the obverse. Appear as light brush strokes. I don't think they are scuff marks on the coin. A hand held examination with a 20x glass would prove or disprove this.
