So I found a Delaware State Quarter the other day and found an obvious blemish and as I started researching, I found some other markings I would have normally passed over. Please let me know what you think!

On the Delaware side: There's a major dent thats smooth to the touch to the upper right. Also on the rider's foot there is absolutely no stirrup. It also appears that the horse has never had a bridle, its not worn away or anything its completely smooth.

On the washington side: This side is almost completely flat. The you in United is almost completely in the coin and barely is raised. the F in OF is not even there.. and the R in quarter dollaR is more raised than any other coin I've seen.

Definitely exposed to high heat. Caused trapped gas between clad layer to expand. Also, the dark, fuzzy surfaces are typical signs as well.
