Hello,
I hope someone can identify this token which belonged to my husband's grandmother. It is about one inch in diam. It has two sides that rotate and reveal different symbols. Please see photos. Do you know what it is?
Thank you for your interest. I have more pictures if you like just let me know?

I have seen similar pieces as "perpetual calendar medals"; in the days before wall calendars became commonplace, such items were used instead. All the ones I've seen have been in English, like this one; yours appears to be in Arabic, and rather smaller than a typical calendar medal.

I have received many replies that it is Persian. Do you have an idea of the date it was made?
Thank you for your interest.
