So after finally getting my hands on a 2011 Charltons with the large cent variety in the back, I went through some of my large cents. I found an 1894 repunched "9" in an older PCGS MS65RB. Two questions 1. What percentage of a MS65Red price would a MS65RB be?
2. the multiple for this variety is 2X. Would this also apply to the higher grades?
Very very nice! the RP9 is not near as common as one might think! The highest graded one I am aware of is a prior to his is a 62. I actually think that there are lots of high grade varieties sitting unknown in collections. Nice find.
