Twelve Canada Colored Circulation Coins

On October 21, 2004 the Royal Canadian Mint, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion, issued the world's first colored circulation coin. This 25-cent coin features a red poppy. Since then, the Royal Canadian Mint has issued eleven additional colored circulation coins for a total of twelve colored circulation coins to date.

The list of colored coins has appeared here many times.
A complete list, including varieties, with good photos would be a good reference.

Welcome to the site mycoiman, I read your other post on ask me a question on coins.
I have a few questions that I have asked on other coin sites but the answers never satisfied my mind maybe you can help.
1) The 1953 LD 25 cent P/L coin is There such a coin most people say no that they were only very nice business strikes, (did the mint produce such a coin).

2) 1968 silver 10 and 25 cent proof like coins, ( did the mint produce such coins)?

3) My last question is on Proof coins and how they are graded. When a person purchases one of these coins the impression is that they are the perfect coin PR-69 or PR-70 but when graded you are very lucky to get a PR-68 mostly PR-66 or 67 how do you tell the difference from a PR-66 to a Pr-69 or PR-70?
Thanks for your comments.
Jim

Jim, the answer to question 3 is best shown, rather than typed out... if you ever get to Nuphilex or Coin Expo, I can show you the difference between a PR-65, -66, -67 and -68 (at least by ICCS standards) and show you a few gem PR-68+ coins.

In short, you need to spend a lot of time examining these coins, much more so than a gem business strike. I have helped t_y select his proof twoonies for his PCGS registry set, and he can tell you that I don't do it in a mere glance...
