Just to alert any members who are browsing "that site whose name begins with an e and ends with a y" on an item, one of many, listed and ending in 4 hours.
You can find it with the words "Lot of 6 Ancient Roman Bronze Coins".
My main concern is that every single coin this seller has listed is of the same colour, with the same soft appearance.
The mentioned listing has what appears to be a Hannibalianus AE and a Hadrian Egyptian Sestertius.
Appears.
As stated, the look of them all, and all the others that have been listed, I find suspect.

i saw that, does look strange doesn't it? maybe they've all had the patina removed (but you'd think they'd be more "shiny"?). I'm bad at fake spotting, so I don't know...but I know I wouldn't go for any of them.

If you see the other listing, mostly what appears to be Greek AE's, the soft, porous "tell-tale sign" of a Cast fake is even more suspect.

Even in the sellers old auctions his coins look the same brown and soapy finish.

They could certainly be cast or have been in some kind of mega acid bath as a much larger lot that has pitted the surfaces and 'toned' them all a similar shade of poop.

I saw the auction. If someone cast those--they sure set their sights low.
If I were to guess, someone used chemicals and a wire brush w/ a power tool--there isn't much left.

I think it was this one DVC, slightly better quality but much more interesting coins.

Yes DVC, that link, though another dodgy looking lot, is to a different auction and seller (that one is in USA, NY). I should have added that the auction in question is by a UK seller.
Similar wording, but with "Lot of 6 Ancient Roman Empire Rome Bronze Coins" rather than "Lot of 6 Ancient Roman Bronze Coins"

Crumbs, the auction in question ended at £122! Ignorance is not bliss.
