1876-CC Standing Liberty Quarter / SLQ Grade And Variety

chesterb Pillar of the Community United States 1261 Posts	Posted 02/03/2013 9:19 pm I am trying to determine the reverse variety for this quarter (it is one of my most favorite coins BTW). I found out that 1876-CC quarters have a type 1 and type 2 reverse and they are further defined by the size of the MM. Can anyone help me identify this one and what the key diagnostics are? chesterb Pillar of the Community United States 1261 Posts	Posted 02/03/2013 10:24 pm Well I must have looked at 50-75 coins on the Heritage website trying to figure out this variety. I determined that it is a Type 2 Reverse but I couldn't find any that where the mint mark matched. It guess it's the Tall CC variety but that didn't seem to match up 100%. I hope it's authentic.
