I am trying to determine the reverse variety for this quarter (it is one of my most favorite coins BTW). I found out that 1876-CC quarters have a type 1 and type 2 reverse and they are further defined by the size of the MM. Can anyone help me identify this one and what the key diagnostics are? I did a web search and didn't see anything.

Well I must have looked at 50-75 coins on the Heritage website trying to figure out this variety. I determined that it is a Type 2 Reverse but I couldn't find any that where the mint mark matched. It guess it's the Tall CC variety but that didn't seem to match up 100%. I hope it's authentic.
