Lovely coins! I think you've got a london mint in there! And a lovely BEATA left facing.

Pretty good bunch - The Crispus looks like London also, maybe even the top left Constantine

I say beata - I mean the reverse type which the inscription bares the text BEATA TRANQVILLITAS (blessed tranquility). The altar with the celestial globe on top.

The shape of the altar is different for each mint - and your top right looks a lot like london and the bust certainly does too.

Amazing examples.
Always pround to see a coin of the London mint.

Did you find them yourself? If so, were they found in the same field or a wide area?

I remember a "Time Team" episode where five Roman coins were excavated, and Helen Geake stated that "Five coins found in one spot= A Hoard" and had to be declared under the Treasury Act.

Doesn't it have to be about 14 bronzes to be a hoard? Seem to remember that from somewhere, less if they are silver or gold.

These are a good bunch Monkeybean, do you ever find any Tetrarchy coins or is it mainly these smaller slightly latter coins?
