I guess the marks between the nose and eye are kinda prominent? That's the only thing holding it back. Report this Post to the Staff
Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 04/20/2007 10:05 pm Hi B-D, Looks like there are a couple noticeable cuts or scratches along the jaw line and near the chin. Add in the little scrape below P-L of Pluribus and I think the MS-62 grade is fair. If you crack it out and resubmit it could come back 63 but it would be a gamble. I'd definitely keep it in the old holder. Buyers seem willing to pay more for coins in the older slabs so that would be an advantage if/when you decide to sell it. Still a very decent '78-CC.
