Does any one know what the hazy creamy white or blueish gloss that some of the Lincolns has around the later 70's early 80's is?

Can you post a photo of what you are referring to. It sounds like the beginning of verdi gris

I will have to go looking for one. But it looks like someone put a coat of polyurethane with slight white milky look. The coins look to be in good shape too.

Again, a photo is needed. From what you describe it is either post mint damage or environmental damage.
