So the one and the eight are nothing? The 8 looks like it has extra metal.

I don't see the extra metal you speak of. I do see where the 8 and the 1 both look like they took a hit. The blob at the top of the rim looks like what happens when a coin gets hit on its side - this may just be the pic.

As to the P being filled in - happens all the time.

If you look at the 8, Bottom left side it has a line.

solotime, you need to ask yourself, "how would there be extra metal?" The minting process does not add or take away from the weight of a blank planchet. It simply stamps it. Therefore no metal is added or taken from it during the minting process. IMHO what you have is simply damage, post mint damage. Which was already pointed out.
