Don't know if anyone else saw this on ebay, but would you consider this to be a bar?

Doesn't look like a bar there to me...It is my understanding that the bar is a die crack that connects to each ribbon..

to be honest, I dont think I see a bar at all. The coin also appears to have been "cleaned". To confirm, wait for some expert opinions :P

Definitely a dot, but no bar.

I see the line that the guy is talking about, but I don't see any material there. ICCS didn't even give this one the "Bar" designation, and you can see a die crack http://www.ebay.com/itm/251209632571

That seller listed the coin as 1/2 bar variety...which doesn't "officially" exist. That is probably why ICCS didnt comment on it, just a simple die crack. I believe a true "bar" has to fully connect the leaves.

RoyalSilver - I know. I was just saying that coin has more of a bar than the one on ebay right now, and it didn't make the cut for the bar variety, so this one definitely shouldn't. I agree that the bar has to fully connect the bough

I'd say that this coin has been cleaned for sure. The "A" & "N" in Canada on the reverse are an easy flag as well as the inscription on the obverse the patina is just to thick here for the rest of the coin to have not suffered the same fate. Also the micro dimpling on the reverse like a golf ball effect on the surface I was told could be a sign of a chemical clean on old patina where the corrosion of the silver wasn't uniform across the coins surface on a microscopic level.

Now of course I could be completely wrong I am just letting you know what I see. Trust your gut.
