Hi, I have just acquired a 1955 NSF 1 cent. I was surprised to find that it also has a very nice double date. The bottom corner of the left leaf is doubled and the "C" in Canada. Is this a common error or is it not?
Thanks,
Bry.

The doubling is there, but not enough offset to warrant being anything special. Given the hefty premium for the NSF variety, there would be no additional value for the doubling - the value in this coin is all with it being a 1955 NSF.

Abderrahim, your coin is very nice.If your coin was just a little higher grade, it would start attracting some serious dollars ($300-400) I would think, as it sits now, not in a hurry to sell, you could realize $200.-$250.
The f-12's have been selling between $150.-$175. I did see a couple guys get lucky at the $145. range but not to often.

current price ... hmmm ....lets re-evaluate this situation, down by the RCMints melting pot; now you know the real meaning of the metaphor: prices will soon be going through the roof.
