Here is a simply gorgeous 1976 Canadian Commemorative issue. The proof 20 Crown coin is sealed within the cover of the little book which heralds the life and reign of Queen Victoria. A GREAT commemorative issue which is both affordable ($16.00) and educational.

Thanks for looking
Ben

That looks like a terrific Coin, and at a nice price.

The Canadian Mint revived the 4 portrait design in 2004 when the showed the 4 portraits of QE 2. It was used on the obverse of the 300 dollar coin

I was wondering why this was posted in the "Canadian Coins" section... then I saw, in little tiny writing: "struck at the Royal Canadian Mint". So I suppose it counts as Canadian.

Can't say I've seen to many of those Down Under. I don't think RCM marketed themselves down here in the 1970's as much as the other foreign mints did (like Royal Mint, Singapore, Franklin Mint, etc).
