Heres my only 'on display' coin - its not my rarest but it is the nicest historical coin I have. PROFECTIO AVG - Marcus Aurelius Leaves Rome to Fight the Germanic Wars Only the reverse has any surviving detail. and here it is, as it is displayed....  |

Very tough to choose, but its in my top favorites and one of my most special (not like first coin special, but still). Thought I was going to have to wait years to find one (or any other of the rare Western emperors) for sale, let alone one that was a very good deal.:

Nice coin VK, #26 on the rarity scale. Did you find it in a lot of uncleaned coins?

Got it in a trade with a fellow collector/educator. Odd,this was my favorite addition of 2012 and I got it in a trade with a collector I respect, too. I posted my favorite 25 coins last year. I'm not sure where in the list this will fall in the next edition.  |

I know maybe a little longer than normal but by doing it this way most should get the chance to vote (Saturdays many are at home)
