Arrived today - wish the obverse had survived as well as the reverse

Ironically, I am in the process of removing the verdigris of a Maximian follis, the case is opposite to yours.
With mine, the obverse is fine, with much silvering remaining, whilst the reverse had verdigris.
Whilst the original silvering has been revealed under the verdigris, the part that was not under verdigris has become darkened in the cleaning process. So other than being "green free" it is no better than before.

.......... but still a very nice example of the very hard to come by Invasion Coinage (Lugdunum mint in RIC Volume VI), BH. Well centered with easily readable inscription. Congratulations!

I like it. The obverse really isn't bad and the reverse still has some nice silvering left. I don't have this reverse type so I would mind finding one in the same condition as yours.

Ouch indeed - unless its BD I tend to leave alone, of course I too had to ruin a couple before that mentality sunk in
