How often do you guys or girls find Dated Buffalo nickels while searching through rolls. I've always absolutely adored Buffalo nickels, but it seems they're pretty hard to find in circulation today. While CRH, have you found 5 altogether, 15, or 50 altogether? Or even more than 50? I would love to know how often you guys find a dated Buffalo or dateless Buffalo from a bank roll.

I haven't searched too many boxes yet, but I've only found one buffalo. It was a nice full date 1936.

Once found a whole roll of dated buffs -CWR.

I usually find one every 300$ worth of nickels searched if doing bags or bank wrapped rolls.

I've only done around a dozen boxes of nickels, but I've only found one poor old Buff that's worn so smooth that the date is entirely gone.

@coincbass---Congrats on that CWR of buffs. That is one truly magnificent catch.

I've done $1770 and I've only found 2 buffalo (1 full date 1936 and a partial date 1928-S) so I'd say one about every $900.

Funny that I see this thread about Buffaloes - I'm on a hot streak! 19 out of the last 5 boxes and the odd thing about it is that they all have dates!

I haven't found too many buffalos. I found a full date 1936 and a few no dates. I wish I had luck like Silver Eagle. Those are some good finds, especially with dates.
