this coin was in a roll of pennys from the bank, can any one tell me what I have if its worth selling on ebay

looks like a 1922 D maybe...pretty faded...i would say maybe its worth a buck.

so it would be a weak D as listed in the book strong back,? asking becuase value is much more then a buck

some one told me that so faint like that , that its a no D? is this true, die clash doesn't make it worth more? what the diffrents in a die crack \clash, still 12 dollars is a good find at .50 cents a roll

The no D type has no D,yours has a weak D.

$12 is a catalog value,the real value is whatever you can get for it. You can check ebay for coins like yours and see what they sold for to get a more realistic value.

I said that its probably worth a buck becasue peices like it in a little better condition are going for a buck or 2 on ebay....but ya defiently worth it if you only paid 1 cent for it!

i posted on ebay for .99 becuase all the others are 20-80 in low grades, :)

If I was looking to buy a 1922-D I would want one without the clash unless I collected die clashes but even then I would not pay much extra for the clash.IMHO.
