This post caused me to watch some other 86 Statue of Liberty coins on ebay. Since I have the uncirculated, I just picked up the proof for $3.98. Still below pre-issue price, so I'm happy.

Nice to see that one can get an honest to goodness deal on ebay still. Nice looking coin for a nice price.

ebay is a great way to get a lot of the non silver commems cheaply if you stay away from the graded ones

I have seen a lot of the non silver commems on the Bay going very cheap. Yesterday I actually stumbled upon a dealer who was selling at very reasonable prices. Not modern, but I bought the 1893 Columbus and a1951s Booker. The Columbus was $12 and Booker was $20. I'm going to get pics of both posted soon as their grading is beyond me. I'm definitely hooked on the commemorate halves now.
