Silver has dropped $0.44 so far today to $30.99. If it drops below $30, I might just have to make a little purchase...

Eurozone worries, especially French banks, should be causing the US Dollar to climb for the next few weeks.

Silver buying opportunity for sure!

I will be watching. Show season starts up here at the end of the month. Maybe silver can continue down until the big 3 day show in April. Would love to continue to add Peace and Morgans.

I should've warned you. I made a major purchase last Friday, so Silver spot dropping like a rock this week was a sure thing.
It's only 10:43 Monday morning right now and spot has already dropped 60 cents from the spot I bought at.

China is pretty much shut down for today and a good portion of the week for their new year celebration. So apparently their should be some decreased demand from them. Not sure if that will account for all the drop, but the financial news was saying that it might contribute a good portion of it.

Just buy a little at a time, similar to dollar cost averaging, when you have some cash to spare.

If you are a small long termer, keep an eye on the price at the time you buy, but there's no need to look TOO closely. Different if you are are a large stakeholder.

Yes, that's why I occasionally buy a 100-ounce bar or a roll of Canadian Silver Maples or the like. I don't like to make my purchases too small, since then I lose out on premiums and shipping. But every once in a while I like to make a larger purchases (such as a monster box), and I have to pick and choose very carefully when I make those. For now, I'm targeting silver to get below $30 again before I consider that sort of purchase.

I wanted to write up about some stuff related to the PMs in the past few trading sessions including day but its been a crazy monday.

I will say this tho-

BEFORE you get itchy to buy now,,, A- dont blow your whole wad right away, as mentioned already. and BTW, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATTTTTEEEEE the "buy the dip" mentality and suggestions but this is coming from a trading viewpoint from me. Why? because what is cheap,, becomes cheaper and I do think gold and silver are coming down down down as they have been. so be careful with what you wish for. I see this all the time, even guys that now better, they say, oh heck it will bounce for even a short term and nope it doesn't so be careful in buying right away this dip.

B- take this time to buy stuff that you haven't been able to grab. Haven't bought some expensive Pandas, well heres your choice, buy 1, buy 10. BTW, dont worry if you can afford 1 or 100 coins, over the long term, PMs are a good place to put some money away and into and this brings me point C..

C- you havent bought any gold? this is going to be your chance. buy some, not go crazy. but buy some. and may I humbly suggestion, buy yourself something nice gold wise. How about a proof eagle? or a proof buffalo? or a gold Panda, or maple leaf. Get something that has a premium to it so you have cushion and aren't relying on the spot price alone. I always say, QUALITY over quantity.

so again, hang in there, do NOT BLOW ALL YOUR CASH on this dip. More lower prices are on their way.In fact I would start trolling ebay because I have a strong feeling that the general public is going to see these prices tank and are gonna wanna unload their PMs as they give up, after buying near the tops..... like when I said APMEX was a top when they appeared at ebay, I still feel strongly about that. that was a major signal that PMs had hit a top.

anyways good nite and please, if you dont agree with anything I wrote, which I could care less lol.. at least lets agree that no one should blow their entire money on buying all at once on this dip.
