Back in October I picked up the 2012-P Hawaii 5oz coin from the mint. I don't collect the all the 5ozers so when I saw the premium they were going for, I listed it on the Bay and made a quick $250. So with the original $205 I spent, I now have $455 to spend on my next purchase. My problem is now I'm torn on what to get next. But I've narrowed it down to three: 1. 2006 ASE 20th Anniversiary set, I collect the series but I missed out on this set. Plus side is if I get his I will have all the reverse proofs to date. 2. 2012-P 5oz Denali - really I'm only eyeing this coin because I wonder if lightening will strike twice and it could be resold for a quick profit like the Hawaii 5oz. 3. A $2.5 Gold Indian. I don't have any gold coins, but I have always liked this design so maybe now is the time to make my first gold purchase. So any thoughts on what to get next? Of course, pics will eventually follow.

Id go with the 06 set. Its unlikely lightning will strike twice with the Denali if thats the only reason you would be getting it.

Good suggestions so far. But remember, after you've learned the value of your options, buy what "you" like and what interests "you."

Definitely the ASEs - nothing is better than completing a set.

I agree with benbyfield. There's nothing like a complete set and I think a 20th anniversary gold set is particularly sweet. If I were in your position, I'd grab the ASE anniversary set.

I too would definitely go with the 2006 ASE set.

I think you should go with the ASE set also.

I would definitely go for the Indian. Gold is good and if you don't have any yet, now might just be a great time to do it.

ASE - be patient and you can probably pick it up and have some to spare from the 445.00.

Thanks for all the feedback! I think Ben is right that completeing the mini ASE reverse proof set is a better idea then starting with Indians. Plus if I get a good deal I should be able to pick up a couple Peace dollars too!
